You have the power to choose the life you want to live, the amount of wealth to acquire, the thoughts you have, the actions you take, and the people you spend time with. You alone have the power to make these choices. How you choose determines how you succeed.

The only thing you can control is what you choose. Most of the time, you have no control over the situations you find yourself in, but you do have control over the impact they have on you and your response to them. The decisions you have made have led you to where you are right now.

Three things impact our choices:

1. The things we say when we talk to ourselves 

“As a man thinketh, so is he.” What we program into our subconscious mind becomes who we are. You must alter the way you speak to yourself if you want to transform your life. Our thoughts directly influence the decisions we make. Humans have between 6,000 and 7,000 ideas per day, what we feed our subconscious is important. 

You have the ability to change how you think and how your brain functions, but you can only do this by using your power of choice. Because we frequently don’t think about the things we think, pausing to consider them is crucial. When you think of your conscious mind as the captain and your subconscious mind as the crew, you will have the power to choose what you say to yourself. 

Our subconscious is in charge of more parts of us than we realize. That is why we should be careful what we plant in our subconscious mind, because you are going to grow that in your conscious mind. Helpful tips for the mind: Become aware of your thoughts. Accept the truth, weigh the options, and assess the way forward.

2. The actions we take

The ability to act on what you have learned – the additive information you have gained – will propel you forward. Change how you talk to yourself, figure out the next actions to take and how to act on them, and plant them back into your subconscious mind.

3. People you spend the most time with 

We are the sum of the five people we spend the majority of our time with. Who do you spend your time and days with? Are they adding to your energy or draining it? We are designed to fit in, and being a part of a thriving community helps us do so. The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like. The people you spend your time with determine your level of output and outcome in life. Have a tribe that is supportive and has the ability to push you in the right direction.

We are moving into a season of getting together with family, and family deeply affects us. Choose to surround yourself with only good energy.
