When it comes to personal transformation, one of the things people often overlook is the physical aspect of it. However, a healthy mind and body are what make a transformation complete. Several of us may be knowledgeable, but it’s not enough to just fill your mind with powerful information. If you want to manifest change and transformation in your life, you can’t just envision it or read about it. 

3 useful ways to make exercise part of your daily routine

An all-around transformation warrants deliberate, and consistent physical action. Having a healthy body and a healthy mind are interconnected. Here’s how you can devise and implement a helpful system for your transformation:

  1. Be accountable.

Find someone to hold you accountable when it comes to taking care of yourself. Chances are, you won’t always be motivated to finish your morning exercise routine by yourself in a disciplined manner at all times. So find a group, a coach, or a friend to raise you and challenge you when you don’t feel like showing up. Surround yourself with people who are in the place you want to be. 

  1. Make a chain-link connection.

Unlock the power of habit to channel your transformation. In his book Limitless, memory master Jim Kwik argues that when we want to remember things, we can link them with old memories that we have. Ask yourself, “What is something I do every single morning without even thinking about it?” Then, connect that old habit to the idea of taking care of your body. 

This could be along the lines of, “When I drink my cup of coffee in the morning, I will message my accountability partner and let them know I’m going to the gym today and stick to my morning exercise routine.” This way, you make a chain-link connection between an existing habit and the one you want to create.

  1. Visualize the reward and show up.

“If you are going to be in pain, make sure you get a reward from it.” Making exercise part of your daily routine may involve pain, especially in the beginning. But if you feel pain, you need to make sure it’s worth it. Your mind, body, and spirit all have a role to play in your personal transformation.

Achieving a healthy body and healthy mind with self-awareness

In addition to taking care of your house, your family, and your mind, you also need to take care of your body. Remember, an object at rest will stay at rest, while an object in motion will stay in motion. It need not necessarily be a morning exercise routine; customize your fitness goals to suit your needs and lifestyle, so that it becomes easier for you to be consistent.

Take the time to reflect on your past experiences to raise your self-awareness, which you need in order to evolve. A system is required for us to find true transformation.
