10x your Life: How to Heal from Trauma or a Tragic Loss

“10X” is a concept popularized by Grant Cardone, a well-known sales trainer and entrepreneur. To 10x your life, it’s crucial to acknowledge and cherish the moments that matter most. However, does the Grant Cardone 10x formula tell you how to heal from trauma and tragic loss? Let’s find out.

What is the Grant Cardone 10x Principle?

The idea behind 10X is that to achieve massive success, you need to set goals and take actions that are ten times greater than what you think you need to do. In other words, you should aim to achieve 10 times more than what you initially think is possible.

Cardone has written several books on the topic, including “The 10X Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure.” It provides a roadmap for achieving 10X goals in your personal and professional life. To be successful, the book says, you need to take a lot of action, stay focused on your goals, and have a “whatever it takes” attitude.

The 10X concept is based on the premise that most people tend to underestimate what they can achieve, and they set small goals for themselves as a result. Cardone thinks that if you aim for 10 times more, you will think bigger, take more risks, and eventually be more successful. This mindset shift can also help you cope with traumatizing events in your life, thus teaching you how to deal with trauma.

10x your life: How Grant Cardone 10x helped me heal from my traumatizing past experience

Recently, I had the privilege of attending the 10X Growth Con event hosted by Grant Cardone in Las Vegas, where I had the pleasure of listening to some truly inspirational speakers. This experience was extremely emotional for me, given that this coming Saturday, I will be commemorating the life of my son, Jamal Gaines, who was tragically murdered and taken from us 7 years ago without any justice ever having been served. Grant’s event helped me remember how important it is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of people who have made a difference in our lives.

Allow me to share a traumatizing personal story. Picture the most incredible day of your life. For me, that day was February 26th, 2016. The day started off at 4 a.m. when I woke up and headed to teach a fantastic class at NYSC. After class, I went home, picked up my son, and drove him to work. The moment that’s etched in my mind forever is when I watched him step out of the car with his signature smile. However, while my son was still at the sneaker boutique store that he owned, some men broke in and shot him, fatally injuring him. In the blink of an eye, what had started out as a picture-perfect day quickly turned into the most devastating and heartbreaking moment of my life.

10x your life by shifting your mindset

The one key thing that can unlock the life of your dreams is your mindset. If you’re eager to take your life to the next level and achieve a 10X level of success, then having the right mindset is crucial.

Visualize your life at the highest level of perfection, where everything is perfectly aligned with how you want it to be. Maybe it’s walking down the aisle to marry the love of your life or crossing the finish line of a full marathon. For some, it may be holding their newborn child, earning a college degree, or achieving peak physical fitness. Have you reached this pinnacle yet?

Let’s take a closer look at the idea of perfection that you have in mind for yourself. Instead of simply imagining success, I want you to fully immerse yourself in the experience using all of your senses. Can you feel the chill in the air or the rain on your skin? How do these sensations make you feel? Do you bask in the warmth of the sun, or perhaps feel the grit of dirt on your hands after completing a grueling Spartan race? What sounds do you hear during this defining moment in your life? Is it the hum of a crowd before your performance, or the buzz of conversation around you?

So how do you unlock your true potential and 10x your life?

The Mind and Body Transformation program

Despite the heartache and drive surrounding my traumatizing incident, I channeled my grief into creating a comprehensive Mind and Body Transformation program. It took seven years to develop, and it’s updated it regularly. If you commit to this program and remain committed, you will see positive results in every area of your life, from fitness and finances to relationships and beyond.

The Mind and Body Transformation program is based upon four fundamental pillars: mindset, heartset, nutrition, and fitness. While each pillar is a critical component of the program, I will focus today on the mindset pillar. To help you achieve your dream life, I’ll introduce some straightforward changes that you can make to your mindset to have a profound impact on your life forever. However, before you embark on your journey to 10X your life, it’s crucial to define precisely what that means to you.

4 Tips to help you overcome a traumatizing tragedy

Once you have what it is you want to achieve defined, consider these tips:

1. Devise morning and evening rituals.

Establishing morning and evening rituals can set the tone for your entire day. It can also help you unwind and calm down before bed. They are essential because they help establish a routine that can have a positive impact on your overall well-being. They can set the tone for your day, help you focus on your goals. Additionally, this helps create a sense of calm and purpose in your life. By establishing a regular morning ritual, you can start your day with intention and clarity. This will help you to be more productive and focused throughout the day.

Similarly, an evening ritual can help you unwind, reflect on your day, and prepare yourself for a restful night’s sleep. 2. Audit what you’re putting in your mind.

Your mind is a powerful tool, and it’s important to be mindful of what you’re filling it with. Are you regularly reading books and listening to motivational speakers who provide you with fresh ideas, perspectives, and valuable knowledge? Feed your mind positive and informative content, so you can cultivate a positive growth mindset and expand your understanding of the world around you. Be intentional with what you consume and seek out materials that will help you grow and thrive.

3. Your vibe is your tribe.

The people you surround yourself with can greatly impact your mindset and overall well-being. Your vibe attracts your tribe, so it’s important to be mindful of who you allow into your inner circle. Are the people in your life uplifting, positive, and supportive? Do they share similar attitudes, energies, and beliefs as you? Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who encourage and inspire you. Create a community that helps you grow and thrive.

4. Create a vision board.

Vision boards can be a powerful tool for shaping a person’s mindset. By visualizing their goals and aspirations through the images and words on the board, individuals can program their subconscious mind to work towards achieving those desires. This can help cultivate a positive, growth-oriented mindset that is essential for success and 10Xing in all areas of life.
